Ice Cream Evening - Oil on Panel - 5 x 7

Mainers love ice cream, and it’s not hard to find the local ice cream stand in most small towns. Once I thought it was mostly a tourist attraction, but even long after tourist season comes to a close, you will still find a line of locals on a random weeknight with their jackets on, waiting to order. This painting reminds me of the many sunsets I’ve sat under with my boys, eating ice cream and reliving the memories of our latest adventure. We love discovering new trails throughout Maine, and when there’s a hike, there will most likely be an ice cream stop on the way home. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This painting is sold unframed and is available to purchase at Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor, Maine.
