Schoodic Point is known for its powerful surf and open views of the Atlantic, offering a quieter but equally dramatic experience of Acadia’s coastline. This piece reflects that balance of movement and stillness—water in motion against the solid granite shore. One of my favorite places to be is perched on these rocks, watching the waves roll in on a blustery day. My aim was to recreate how it feels to stand on the edge where land, sea, and sky meet.
